Founded by Kevin Jonas Sr., wife Denise, along with their four sons Kevin, Joe, Nick & Franklin, Nellie’s serves as a place to pay respect and honor to a family legend in her own right. Nellie Jonas, the great grandmother of the Jonas Brothers, was a pivotal figure in the family's culinary heritage. Her love for cooking, her recipes and even her cooking techniques inspired our menu, which features classic Southern dishes with a modern twist. 

Diners can enjoy Southern favorites such as fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and banana pudding – all made with the same care and attention to detail that Nellie herself would have put into her cooking.​

Beyond its delicious food, Nellie’s stands as a heartfelt tribute to the community of Belmont, North Carolina. The restaurant embodies their deep-rooted connection to Belmont and their commitment to preserving its traditions. Our warm and inviting atmosphere makes diners feel right at home.

Our newest location housed inside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas boasts a large dining room with live music and plenty of space to host private events.
