Nellie's Southern Kitchen has charming restaurants in both Belmont NC, as well as within the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, with a rich history intertwined with the Jonas family legacy.

Our Belmont restaurant is housed in a historic building that was built in the early 1900s and has been lovingly restored to preserve its historic charm. The Jonas family, known for their ties to the entertainment industry, has deep roots in Belmont. Nellie Jonas, the great grandmother of the Jonas Brothers, was a pivotal figure in the family's culinary heritage. Her love for cooking and Southern cuisine inspired the menu at Nellie's Southern Kitchen, which features classic Southern dishes with a modern twist. The restaurant pays great respect and honor to Nellie's legacy by incorporating her recipes and cooking techniques into its menu. Diners can enjoy Southern favorites such as fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and banana pudding, all made with the same care and attention to detail that Nellie herself would have put into her cooking.

 Nellie's Southern Kitchen, opened an additional location at the MGM Grand Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, in June of 2022. This expansion brings the flavors of Southern cuisine to a new audience in the bustling city of Las Vegas.
